From Jeep to OFF GRID Camper! If you can help me make that happen I’d greatly appreciate it
Trying to turn a rough situation into something better, with your help, it’s possible.
Dear fellow off gridders,
As of writing this last night I was down to $2 and things are gonna be shut off soon (phone, internet, website, software, storage unit). A few folks have stepped up but it’s nowhere near enough to keep everything going.
If you enjoy the group and my content, if you can help support the group and blog I’d be grateful for the support.
In a personal note: Feeling pretty down at the moment. Had some negative setbacks and some other things happen recently that I’m not too happy about and everything’s hitting me pretty hard all at once.
The fundraiser for the camper build fell flat (go figure). If I can’t raise the funds for the camper build then that’s fine, whatever, I’ll just have to scrape by as usual.
But it would be nice to actually get ahead for once, but I just don’t see it happening. My expenses are faster and larger than my meager income.
Yeah I’m working, yeah I have a job, yeah I make enough for food gas ice and other things, but it’s spotty and not dependable. The transition to the new magazine format is good and folks like it. But it’s SLOW, and this time of year it’s even more slow.
Being homeless sucks. I could try to “be positive” and just act like I’m “full time camping” but it’s not that easy. Reality has a way of destroying your wants and drive. If you’ve never been homeless you have no idea how hard it is. Think how hard it would be to live without a proper bed, shower, toilet, electricity, fridge, roof over your head, a table to eat on, hot water, and now try sleeping in your vehicle every damn night.
I’m thankful for what I have, but it’s too hard to explain how hard it is and how it gets to you, it weighs on you, it makes you feel worthless, useless and like a complete failure. Try being homeless and maybe then you might understand. You can’t know what it’s like until you experience it. You can try to lie to yourself, but reality has a way of forcing you to face the truth of your situation. Being homeless sucks! There is nothing good about it. Nothing!
Anyway, sorry for the negative. Just feeling really down at the moment. I’m very tired. Gonna try to get some sleep. Hope you’re well, thanks for caring enough to read this, and if you help out, just know I appreciate it immensely. Thank you!

Thank you to all my supporters. I'm grateful to be able to do what I love and know and what I'm passionate about to help folks on their off grid journey. I might be currently going through some hard times, but hopefully one day I'll be able to achieve my off grid dreams.
I also have a fundraiser I’m trying to do for my off grid camper. It’s not going well lol 😂 made a few sales this past week but it nowhere near enough to start the build.
All it takes is 100 people to subscribe to my magazine for the lifetime membership for $49 and that would be enough money to build it. I’ll be building it off grid in the desert. No grid tied workshop. I’ll build it 100% off grid! And I’m going to put the build on YouTube and FB video. (You guys said you wanted video. So I’m going to do video)
That’s my priority at the moment. To upgrade from sleeping in my Jeep to building the camper for me and Baby. And…To get the YouTube channel going.
