I’m Building a Rugged Off-Road Off-Grid Camper from SCRATCH, IN THE DESERT!

Dear off grid family,

Got some big news about a BIG project I’m going to do!

I’m done sleeping in my Jeep. I’m just over it. It cramped uncomfortable and now I have a pup!

There’s no room to move around, everything is cramped and there’s barely room to stretch out and relax. Much less work comfortably.

And I just added a new member to my family, I adopted a puppy.

Now we need more room, and if my daughter is going to come visit and go on adventures and camping with us for spring break, then I need more room!

I’m in the desert with my new black lab/cattle dog puppy, hunting meteorites by day working and staring at the Milky Way by night.

I’m already living off-grid full-time – call it “homeless” or “full time camping,” but it’s my life, every damn day.

Now it’s time to level up: more comfort, more space, and the rugged freedom to launch my next business from anywhere.

The camper I want to build isn’t your grandma’s camper.

I’ve looked at buying a used one…nope, most of them are trashed, have mold and mildew, wood rot and haven’t been taken care of.

I thought about converting a cargo trailer to a camper.

Good idea, but it costs more to buy than it does to build a camper from scratch how I want it, so I’m building one!

I’m building the ULTIMATE off-road, off grid, solar powered, toy hauler, overland adventure rig, from raw steel, frame-up…

…and I’m going to build it in the desert!

Note: the pics of camper is a concept idea of the general look and feel of what I want to build. It’s not going to look exactly like this, but it’ll be close. Mainly I want a camper toy hauler so I can carry an ATV and still be comfortable , have a bed shower toilet and kitchen to cook in. The added benefit of the ramp turning into a porch is nice too.
