I’m building an off-grid camper by converting a cargo trailer into a fully functional tiny home on wheels. The goal is simple: create a rig that’s affordable, durable, and completely independent from the grid.
The problem is funding. Materials, tools, and components aren’t cheap. I don’t need thousands of backers or a giant campaign. I just need 100 people to subscribe—that gets me enough to start building. If 200 people subscribe, I can finish the build and show you the final camper in action on YouTube.

I listed the basics, the parts list, the price list and costs involved. The brand and manufacturer may change depending on where I can find a donor trailer for cheap, but the basics are simple. A cargo trailer for the base platform, then I'll add to that, reinforce it, throw on some off road tires, lift it a little if possible, and make it livable. Have off grid power and water, a small kitchenette and possibly a bathroom (RV wetbath).
I'm open to suggestions and ideas.
Also... I'm going to try to drop the floorplans soon. I'm still working on it now. I'll release this FREE for subscribers only! This will be a LIFETIME MEMBERS-ONLY PERK! So if you want the floor plans when I'm done making them, I'll put that in with the magazine PDFs and let you know when it's complete.
If all goes well, and I'm able to raise the fund and build the camper, I'll entertain the idea of building one case by base MADE TO ORDER basis for folks who are interested. (but I need to build mine first! This is where I will be living off grid, so this is literally going to be my home)
