2010 Launched First Off Grid Website

Off Grid Living & Survival™ is an independent publication that's been running for about 15 years. Originally launched in 2010 by Eric Wichman under the name Off Grid World, changed to Off Grid Living, and then finally to Off Grid Living & Survival and has grown into the largest and most popular off grid brand in the world.

2014 Launched Digital Off Grid Magazine

In October of 2014 Eric launched Off Grid Living magazine and has been publishing it ever since.

2020 Expanded Magazine To Include More Survival Content

In 2020 Eric expanded Off Grid Living magazine to include more survival related content and changed the name of the magazine to Off Grid Living & Survival™ while continuing to publish the magazine on a bi-monthly basis.

2025 Launch Off Grid News Daily™

Currently Eric is expanding the blog to include the addition of the daily newsletter called Off Grid News Daily™ which will provide free subscribers with current daily off grid news, articles and curated content.

2020-2025 Launched and Built Most Popular And Largest Off Grid Community In The World With Nearly 2 Million Members

Over the past 5 years Eric has also built the most popular online off grid community on Facebook, self-titled Off Grid Living & Survival™ group with nearly 2 million members and 10 million active visitors to the group every month.
